The MUSCLE SUIT® (MUSCLE SUIT Every) is an exoskeleton-type assistive suit developed by Hiroshi Kobayashi, a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tokyo University of Science and the founder of INNOPHYS CO., LTD.
Its primary purpose is to assist and alleviate the strain on the lower back, particularly during tasks that involve maintaining a stooped posture or lifting heavy objects.
The MUSCLE SUIT® (MUSCLE SUIT Every) series since 2017 does not require electricity and uses artificial muscles powered by compressed air to provide support so that it can be used anywhere. As a result, it is widely used in various workplaces, including caregivers, agriculture, and manufacturing.
The MUSCLE SUIT® (MUSCLE SUIT Every) has achieved a cumulative shipment of over 25,000 units, making it the world's most-shipped exoskeleton-type assistive suit (according to our research).

- ① The "MUSCLE SUIT GS-BACK®" received the Good Design Award in the 2022 fiscal year, organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.
The award was given in recognition of the product's minimalistic shape and lightweight, which was designed to be "easy to handle," "simple, light, and compact.
➁ INNOPHYS CO., LTD. received the "Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award" at the "Award for Academic Startups 2020" organized by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

- We are pleased to announce that MUSCLE SUIT Every has obtained certification based on the international standard ISO 13482. This certification is based on the safety requirements for personal care robots (assistive robots) outlined in ISO 13482, and the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) has evaluated the safety of MUSCLE SUIT Every. The product also received CE certification in 2020.
