Dedicated to Enhancing Visual Acuity

Breaking free from the limitations of shadowless lamps and headlights, we introduce the next level of medical lighting innovation.

OPELAⅢ is a new wearable surgical lighting system that combines high-quality light and design. It was developed by a team of experts from Japan and around the world, who were inspired by the idea of creating a light that is both powerful and comfortable to wear. OPELAⅢ produces 145,000 Lux of output, which is significantly higher than the output of traditional medical headlamps. This makes it ideal for use in a variety of settings, from general hospitals to clinics to specialized medical environments. OPELAⅢ is set to revolutionize the way surgery is performed.

High Luminance

The foremost feature of our surgical light is its high brightness. The light source uses three LED bulbs, which are brighter than a single or double bulb. At a distance of 40 cm, the light output is 145,000 Lux, which is comparable to that of a surgical light.

In addition to the brightness, the color temperature of the light is well-balanced, with color temperature that is similar to that of OR light. This means that the light is not as harsh as LED lights typically are, and it makes it easier for surgeons to see the surgical field. This can lead to more accurate and faster surgeries, and it can also reduce the burden on patients.

Ensure Adequate Lighting for Deep and Wall Areas

OPELAⅢ has a unique optical design that allows it to project light in multiple directions, illuminating the deep and wall areas of the surgical field. This is in contrast to a single-bulb headlamp, which can only illuminate the bottom of the surgical field. The three-bulb optical design of OPELAⅢ allows it to project light in a more three-dimensional manner, which can help surgeons to see more detail and perform more precise surgeries.

Shadow Reduction Effect

The third key feature of OPELAⅢ is its shadow-reducing capability. This device exemplifies the primary trait of a shadow-less lamp. Compared to a single headlight, OPELAⅢ significantly diminishes shadows from the light source across a 30–50cm range.

In a surgical field, on a whiteboard as a representation, you'll notice the pen shadow almost disappears. This shadow reduction ensures that surgeons can see their desired area more clearly.
