One day, a client asked if a more affordable alternative to touch panels existed. Inspired, we considered using printed circuits and embarked on development, completing our prototype. When we presented it to the client, they provided new ideas, leading to a year of trial and error to perfect the touch switch.

Now, its applications extend beyond static electricity to detecting liquids and metals, offering various uses. It includes sensors that work when wet and detects weight differences, broadening product design possibilities.

Flexible Technology for Expanding Product Design Options

Our thin-film sensors and switches, made with PET film-based conductive ink, offer high transparency, flexibility, and the ability to bend and illuminate keys. They can function as sensors, switches, or both in one piece.

With microcontroller adjustments, these can be repurposed for proximity sensing (touchless interaction), liquid detection, metal sensing, or pressure sensing. They operate even when wet, and the design can be manufactured on the same surface, allowing for broader design possibilities.
