A Manufacturer of Special Copper Alloys with World-Class Performance

Providing high-performance copper alloy materials to industries such as automotive, semiconductor, railway, and aerospace

Since its founding in 1941, our company has been a development-focused enterprise specializing exclusively in special copper alloys. Today, we offer a wide range of approximately 100 different alloys, varying in material composition and manufacturing methods, including copper chromium, aluminum bronze, beryllium copper, and high-strength brass. These materials are supplied to diverse industries such as automotive, semiconductor, railway, and aerospace.

One notable example is our Corson-based copper alloy, "NC Alloy." Traditionally, beryllium copper was commonly used, but concerns have been raised about beryllium's harmful effects on both humans and the environment. After more than a decade of persistent trial and error, we became the first in the world to develop and commercialize the groundbreaking NC Alloy, which matches the strength of beryllium copper while offering superior electrical and thermal conductivity. NC Alloy has been adopted for the critical sliding components in Formula 1 engine systems.

With in-house production facilities and expertise in the field, we seamlessly handle everything from material development to manufacturing, enabling us to deliver alloys tailored to our customers’ needs.

Growth in achievements within the aerospace industry

Initially, our special copper alloys were supplied to just one customer in the aerospace sector, with no adoption by other major aircraft manufacturers. However, a pivotal moment came when we encountered the quality of products made by overseas manufacturers, which led us to believe, "We can compete on a global scale." This realization prompted us to actively pursue opportunities in the aerospace industry.

Through repeated participation in international exhibitions, we gained a deeper understanding of industry trends and successfully demonstrated our technology and adaptability. This eventually led to securing a contract with a major German aircraft component manufacturer, driving a rapid increase in export volumes. As a result, the aerospace sector has grown into one of our core business areas.

Over the course of 10 years, our transactions in the aerospace industry grew tenfold, and in 2019, we established our first overseas branch in Portugal. We are now considering expanding our international presence further, including to the United States.

First order secured in an international nuclear fusion project

Our company has been selected to contribute to the international nuclear fusion project ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor), which aims to demonstrate the scientific and technological feasibility of fusion energy for peaceful purposes. Involving 33 countries, this massive project centers on constructing the world's largest tokamak, a magnetic fusion device, in France. The copper chromium pipe materials for key cooling components (divertors) used in the reactor are supplied by us, and can endure thermal loads surpassing even those experienced by space shuttles during atmospheric reentry.

By tackling the challenge of creating products capable of withstanding such extreme conditions, we continue to drive advancements in technology and the development of new products.
We cater flexibly to diverse needs

We cater flexibly to diverse needs, handling everything from small-scale to large-scale orders.

Our special copper alloys provide high-quality products across a wide range of industries. In addition to aerospace and nuclear fusion reactors, our materials are extensively used in various fields, including consumables such as resistance welding electrodes for automotive production lines, propeller components of marine vessels, railways, machine tools, semiconductors, and medical devices.

Thanks to our integrated development and production process, we can flexibly accommodate orders ranging from small-lot to mass production. Additionally, we manufacture and supply products in various shapes and sizes tailored to meet our customers’ needs. Please feel free to contact us for any inquiries.
