SF-1000: Achieving the Lowest Level of Reflection for the Most Noticeable Results

SF-1000 is a film that uses a MOSMITE™* base. Inspired by the structure of a moth’s eye, its surface is covered in densely packed, nano-level protrusions smaller than the wavelength of visible light (380-780nm). This structure allows the refractive index to change continuously from the air to the film, reducing reflections to a near-zero level.

Reduces Reflectivity from 8% to 0.4%

While standard float glass has a reflectivity of about 8%, applying SF-1000 to both sides can suppress this to as low as 0.4%.
It also features minimal color distortion from reflections and a wide viewing angle, thanks to its low reflectivity across a broad wavelength spectrum.
This makes it ideal for applications where minimizing reflection is the highest priority, such as in display cases for paintings and fine art.

A Choice of Four Options

Choose the ideal combination from our four product types to perfectly suit your location and application.
For applications where reducing reflection is the top priority, like fine art display cases, SF-1000 is the optimal choice. It provides maximum reflection reduction, lowering reflectivity to just 0.4%. For the same performance with a low-tack adhesive, choose SF-1000N.
For indoor areas prone to smudges and scratches from frequent contact, we recommend SF-1300H, which features a durable hard coat finish for easy maintenance.
For applications exposed to the outdoors, such as storefront windows, choose SF-1520HG. It is specifically designed for exterior installation.
