Pallets That Reduce CO2 Emissions by 77% Compared to Conventional Pallets

Our company initiated the manufacturing of intrinsic sheet material using Japanese container packaging recycled materials around 2012, targeting adoption by a company with a large-scale suitcase manufacturing factory in China. Compared to traditional pallets made from petroleum-based materials, “THE Pallet” (Taiwa Holding Eco Palette) is made from recycled plastic and can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 77%.

Later, we identified a demand for quality recycled pellets at a resin pellet compounder company in China, leading to the commencement of manufacturing and selling plastic recycled pellets. Upon advice from a Japanese trading company specializing in logistics pallets that plastic pallets would align with the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) trends, we began manufacturing and selling logistics pallets named “THE Pallet” using container packaging recycled material in December 2012.

In Japan, government or municipal collectors, local initiatives, and volunteers collect discarded plastic waste from consumers and corporate factories. Once collected, the waste is delivered to government-designated plastic waste processing facilities and converted into pellet-form material.

Waste plastic processing facilities categorize discarded plastic by type (such as polypropylene and polyethylene), then clean, dry, and process it into quality recycled plastic material. Our company purchases this material, blends it with the offcuts from the plastic pallets we collect, and manufactures plastic pallets.

One of the notable features of plastic pallets is their resistance to corrosion and infestation caused by water and chemicals. They are washable, thus preventing mold and insect proliferation eliminating the concerns associated with wooden pallets like rot and pest infestation. With a lifespan of over ten years under normal usage, plastic pallets are cost-effective. Unlike wooden pallets, they do not produce wood chips, improving the working environment. Furthermore, they are recyclable even if damaged, contributing to environmental sustainability.

Optimal for Overseas Export: High-Quality Logistics Pallets

"THE Pallet" is available in both single-face and double-face versions. The single-face pallet is a lightweight yet robust integrated pallet, while the double-face version can be used on both sides, providing a flat loading surface with excellent strength. Its flat shape is gentle on cargo during loading and stacking, making it ideal for transporting heavy items (such as grains). Depending on the application, you can choose between single-face and double-face pallets.

These pallets adhere to Japanese standards (available in two sizes（mm）: 1,100x1,100 and 1,200x1,000).
