Mizuhiki Bands Using Traditional Japanese Crafts

Mizuhiki is a fine Japanese art that involves strengthening washi (traditional paper) strings with starch and entwining them with vibrant fibers and film. After a shine-enhancing treatment, they're cut to around one meter.

Our range includes rubber bands made in Japan, drawing inspiration from Mizuhiki, Obijime (kimono belt clasps), and lucky knots. We present a suite of seven distinct patterns from Japanese knot artistry.

The bands stand 63 mm tall and 115 mm wide. The inner diameter of the rubber band is 70 mm, and it's 10 mm thick. They're perfect for keeping common Goshuin-cho (stamp books), and 110-130 mm wide books and planners closed, adding both a utility and an aesthetic touch.

These bands have won over international fans as souvenirs and earned the esteemed Omotenashi Selection 2023, a testament to their embodiment of Japanese hospitality.
