Polyurea has recently gained attention as a material for industrial coatings due to its excellent qualities of toughness, waterproofing, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and elasticity. The Polyurea Shield Wall® is a high-safety wall created by leveraging these properties.
The Polyurea Shield Wall® is made by coating polystyrene foam boards with polyurea, resulting in a lightweight wall that is stronger and more durable than concrete block walls.

The Polyurea Shield Wall® is stronger and more resilient than a quake-proof concrete block wall. Collision tests conducted by the Disaster Prevention Research Institute of Kyoto University have proven that it withstands storm-driven debris. Additionally, it is about one-tenth the weight of traditional walls, reducing the risk of fatal accidents even if it collapses.
2. Ease of Installation
Due to its lightweight nature, the Polyurea Shield Wall® allows for easy exterior wall installation. This significantly shortens the construction schedule, leading to substantial cost savings.

The Polyurea Shield Wall® features a lightweight and highly durable design. It uses polystyrene foam as its core material, which is known for its light weight and resistance to collapse, providing cost and installation efficiency. This core is coated with Rhino eXtreme™, a highly durable pure polyurea. The walls are inserted between anchors that are supported by a concrete foundation and the surface is finished with a high-quality finishing material, resulting in a strong and aesthetically pleasing structure.
Polyurea is an ultra-fast-curing resin compound formed instantly by mixing two components, isocyanate and amine, under high temperature and high pressure. It boasts high hardness and elasticity, ensuring long-term durability without degradation. Additionally, it is an environmentally friendly material, being VOC-free and solvent-free.
