Nissoku Corporation was founded in November 1962. In response to a request from Tokyo Electric Power Company to address the problem of unsolicited flyers, Nissoku developed and completed the "Poster-Proof Magic Sheet". Since then, the "Poster-Proof Magic Sheet" has become a major product used by electric power companies, NTT, the police, local governments, and other organizations. Nissoku has also supplied induction sheets, which are made of "Poster-Proof Magic Sheet" with phosphorescent paint, to local governments for disaster prevention.

To raise awareness of phosphorescent materials, which are environmentally friendly and do not require electricity, Nissoku began selling "Hikarirun No Moto", which is a water-based phosphorescent paint and phosphorescent pigment in a convenient bottle. Nissoku is constantly researching new applications for its products.
