Ichikudo creates beautifully designed paper products full of originality.

An integrated production process that combines craftsmanship with IT digital technology

We are celebrating our 115th anniversary in 2025. Supported by a long history of craftsmanship, we are a printing company that uniquely integrates traditional techniques with cutting-edge IT and digital technologies. From designing, printing, bookbinding, and folding, we are one of the few companies in the world that handles all production processes in-house.

Japanese bento boxes are starting to attract attention from overseas. Our Bento Calendar features unique designs that reflect Japan's cultural events throughout the year, accompanied by the monthly calendar. For example, it showcases traditional osechi* dishes for January, children's bento for May, and Christmas-themed bento for December, incorporating seasonal ingredients into the menu for each of the 12 months. The names of the dishes are listed in the back of each card, and by scanning the QR code on the back of the chopsticks that come with the calendar, you can access the recipes for each bento to try making the dishes for yourself. Enjoy exploring and making these authentic Japanese bento with our calendar!

Additionally, since December 2024, we have been offering a new series featuring onigiri (rice balls), a beloved Japanese food enjoyed around the world. Discovering 12 different types of onigiri, each reflecting the seasons, will also be an exciting experience.

*Osechi is a traditional Japanese New Year's dish, beautifully prepared with various symbolic ingredients to celebrate and bring good fortune.

Paper Wallet, aiming for a product that at first glance you couldn't imagine was made from paper

Using a silk-screen printing technique called foil screen, we apply a foil layer to achieve both the strength and aesthetic appeal of the products. By sewing the materials together with a sewing machine, we create a paper item that resembles nothing like paper.

The collection includes five versions featuring foil screen designs and five matte silk designs. These designs incorporate motifs such as koi fish and cherry blossoms, showcasing an unmistakenly Japanese essence.
