I did not learn about the body until I was over 39 years old. I changed jobs and joined a company that manufactures and sells custom-made insoles. While traveling around the country doing marketing, I was surprised to find that many people were suffering from symptoms such as knee and hip pain and difficulty walking due to bunions. They went to hospitals but could not find relief for their pain. Doctors told them that the cause was aging and the only solution was to build up their muscles. These people found relief with custom-made insoles, which helped them to solve their long-standing problems.
I had conversations with many people who purchased custom-made insoles, many of whom were in their late 60s to 80s. I realized that most knee and back pain was caused by muscle deterioration due to aging. If people started wearing insoles at an earlier age, they would not have to experience this pain and would be more active. However, at the time, custom-made insoles were hard and thick, and could not be easily put in fashionable shoes worn by younger people. This is when I became determined to create insoles that could be worn with fashionable shoes, and I began developing FootFree.
Muscles protect our bodies, and the sole of the foot also has an arch structure supported by muscles. When the muscles in the soles of the feet weaken, the arch collapses, making it difficult to support the body. We have developed a core material that provides moderate elasticity to the entire sole and helps create the muscle movement needed to revive the arch. This moderate elasticity moves the muscles of the sole evenly on both sides, so the hardened muscles relax, and eventually the muscles build up over time. The even distribution of foot pressure enables the body axis to be aligned and the muscles of the whole body to be used in a well-balanced manner. Additionally, the product is offered in half-sizes and is ultrathin at two millimeters, making it great for use with fashionable shoes. This level of thinness was achieved through the skilled craftsmanship of our team. These insoles come in five sizes from 22.0 to 28.0 centimeters for both men and women.
