Significant reduction in the time and cost of prototyping

Are you struggling with prototyping high-precision optical polymer components?

During new car development, precision lenses are crucial for HUDs (head-up displays, which project speed and navigation information onto a vehicle's windshield), as well as for instrument panels on dashboards. However, when prototyping parts for new development, starting it with mold production often leads to issues such as excessive time consumption or high costs.

Using a high-precision aspheric lens machining system and a high-precision 3D milling machine, we can produce highly accurate optical components with cutting processes—eliminating the need for mold production. This allows us to deliver prototypes within an average manufacturing lead time of just two weeks. Our prototyping service specializes in producing up to 10 units, and we accept orders starting from just one unit.

From HUDs and instrument panels, to precision lenses used in head-mounted displays and smartphone camera lenses, our service has been highly praised for prototyping optical polymer components across a wide range of industries. If you've been turned down by other companies for your optical polymer component prototyping needs, trust us to deliver.

Achieves exceptional precision through machining and the skills of technicians

Achieves exceptional precision through machining and the skills of technicians

From aspheric to free-form lenses, we can bring your vision to life.

Our company utilizes ultra-precision aspheric machining and high-precision 3D machining technologies to achieve exceptional accuracy with cutting processes, ensuring PV ≧ 1 µm and Ra ≧ 20 nm. The transparency of the cut surfaces is further enhanced through hand polishing by skilled Japanese technicians, offering refined surface accuracy to the highest levels.

For instance, the shape of an aspheric lens, when expressed as a set of coordinates in mathematical formulas, results in a high-order polynomial; the more terms there are, the more intricate the shape becomes. Achieving these precise coordinates through machining relies heavily on the accuracy of the equipment and the skill of the technicians.

By combining state-of-the-art machinery with the exceptional skills of our technicians, we can transform your design or formulas into reality with high precision, delivering a final product that meets your satisfaction and desired quality.
Supporting a wide range of materials, in addition to PMMA and PC

Supporting a wide range of materials, in addition to PMMA and PC

We meet every customer's needs with a wide range of polymer materials.

Traditionally, materials for optical plastic lenses have been predominantly PMMA (acrylic) or PC (polycarbonate). However, with the rise of smartphones, new materials such as Iupizeta *1 and Zeonex® *2 have been developed. These materials offer superior optical properties, including lower birefringence and minimal color fringing, making them ideal for use in device lenses. Our prototyping service can accommodate a wide variety of these new materials.

As new materials are developed in the future, we will continue to leverage our extensive material compatibility and high-precision machining technologies to meet customer needs. Please feel free to contact us.
