Celebrating Japanese Culture through Stamps: Hanko Japonism®
Enjoy pressing Japanese art stamps.
Incorporating three differently colored stamps, one on top of the other, creates a beautiful art piece that embodies the essence of Japan.
Our company has long cherished the desire to share Hanko, one of Japan’s most historic and representative cultural symbols, with the world in an accessible and enjoyable way. To achieve this, we embarked on creating original stamps that feature illustrations representing Japan. By overlaying stamps of different colors, we have succeeded in creating colorful and beautiful impressions.
This method of layering colors is akin to the approach used in Japanese woodblock printing, which evolved during the Edo period in Japan. Japanese woodblock prints spread to Europe and eventually sparked a significant cultural trend known as Japonism.
With the hope that this three-color stamp set will also be widely cherished around the world, we have named it Hanko Japonism®.
The completed image is created by overlaying three-color stamps of the character, background, and frame.
Ninja, Samurai & Kimono Designs (Customizable Names)
The backgrounds include iconic Japanese entities such as Mount Fuji, castles, pagodas, and torii gates. Surrounding the characters and the background, traditional Japanese patterns such as Seigaiha (wave) and Ichimatsu (checkered) are arranged akin to a picture frame.
Additionally, we also provide stamps with personalized insertion, making these stamps an ideal gift for those who admire Japan.
Press the stamp firmly against the L-shaped guide ruler.
