Dotcon+: The Permeable Concrete Solution for Flood Control
PUMP MAN Co., Ltd.
The Dotcon+ System and Installation
The Only Concrete System That Prevents Flooding Without Requiring Slopes
Intense downpours and urban flooding are on the rise as impermeable paving prevents natural rainwater infiltration. Dotcon was engineered to transform concrete from part of the problem into the solution. It is the only concrete technology that allows rain to permeate directly into the ground without requiring a drainage slope. By returning water to the soil, Dotcon helps restore a healthy hydrologic cycle, reduce flood risk, and build more sustainable cities.
Rainwater Infiltrating the Ground Through Dotcon+ Joints
A Water-Permeable Paving System That Protects Cities
Dotcon combines seven modular parts to create a tile-like paving surface that allows rain to pass through the joints. Water is then temporarily stored before it infiltrates into the ground, lowering the risk of urban flooding. The square type stores about 13 liters per square meter, or roughly 92,820 liters at the scale of a soccer field. With routine maintenance, high permeability is sustained over time, and evaporative cooling from rainwater helps curb the urban heat island effect. Dotcon+ has been selected for multiple public works, with installations scheduled at the Sheraton Hotel in Saudi Arabia and in Indonesia.
Delivering Both Durability and Design Flexibility
Engineered for Durability, Designed for Versatility
Dotcon+ is engineered to resist cracking far better than conventional slabs. Traditional concrete needs joints every 3 to 4 meters to manage shrinkage, but Dotcon+ uses 60-centimeter segments. This leverages the size effect, where smaller panels better resist cracking and maintain strength. Unlike asphalt that needs frequent repaving, our concrete offers a long service life of 30 to 50 years. And like building blocks, the modules can be mixed and matched to create square, rectangular, or hexagonal patterns, delivering durability and design in one system.
The Evolving Dotcon Series
The Next-Generation Concrete: Cost-Effective and Easy to Install
The Dotcon method requires no drainage slope, dedicated drain lines, or formwork, allowing you to use less concrete and lower total costs. It can be installed in phases without heavy machinery, shortening project timelines and reducing crew size. The system is simple enough for DIY-level work yet robust enough for large public projects. With our multiple series, you get purpose-built options that balance easy implementation with strong economics.
