After extensive research on the difficulties of organizing and transporting the tools needed for laptop-based work, we created a pouch that is tailored to those who work on the go with a laptop in hand.
The ongoing pandemic has led to an increase in telework and the use of laptops. However, a laptop alone is not sufficient for teleworking. Additional tools such as smartphones, power banks, chargers, cables, and even pens and notebooks are also necessary. Without proper storage solutions, it can be challenging to keep these items organized and easily accessible while working.
After our company was established, our president, Mr. Sato, who used to work as an office worker, transitioned to the lifestyle of a digital nomad, free from traditional working spaces and schedules. In his interactions with other freelancers, he discovered a common problem: a lack of satisfactory storage solutions for their work tools. Many complained of options that were inexpensive but visually unappealing, or that did not have the right size or capacity. These digital nomads had a distinct working style compared to those who work in offices, were often required to carry their work tools with them, and frequently needed to access and store their equipment.
The Day’s Pouch is a compact gadget pouch that stands upright on a table, making it easy to organize and access tools used for laptop work in small spaces like cafes and coworking areas. Designed with the needs of digital nomads in mind, it is small enough to be carried as a “bag in a bag,” fitting comfortably in a business bag or even a purse.
The Day’s Pouch is a convenient storage solution for digital nomads, featuring nine pockets of various sizes, including a main pocket.
